Attention Installer: (if other than owner): Please for ward this instruction sheet to the purchaser of this product. These instructions contain valuable information necessar y to the end user. STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL Tools required for installation: 1. Remove both frame covers. Remove the left cover 6mm & 8mm Allen wrenches first to access a bolt that holds the right side cover 10mm socket in place. 3/8" Ratchet & Extensions 2. Remove right side floorboard assembly held in place 8, 10, 12 & 17mm Wrenches by two bolts (Figure 1). 1/2" Wrench 3. Remove exhaust por t Allen nuts. 5/16" nutdriver/flat blade screwdriver 4. Remove Allen bolts securing rear muffler to exhaust Ft/lb. & In/lb. Torque wrenches system mounting bracket. Brake bleeder & fluid 5. Remove complete exhaust system. Begin by lifting muffler out of mounting bracket locating hole (assistance may be required). 6. Check condition of stock exhaust gaskets. Replace if damaged or worn. Page 1 of 4 Y405IN Rev. 1.1
